Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

Our Preschool is inclusive of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (S.E.N.D). Our staff are trained and experienced in adapting activities to meet the individual requirements of children with additional needs. Each child’s development is tracked according to the EYFS developmental milestones in key areas so any difficulties can be identified at an early stage. The staff work closely with parents to plan, assess and review the child’s development.

We are also lucky to have access to the expertise of the Wellington Area Rural Federation SENDCo, Moira Brown, who regularly visits the pre-school and supports Becky in her role.
