There are several types of funding which are accepted at Stawley Preschool. The funding is awarded to the preschool by the local authority. Parents of funded children pay only for additional hours and snack contributions.
Two year old funding
Most families are eligible for two-year old funding of up to 15 hours per week. There are two types of funding, each with different criteria for eligibility, which can be found on the link below. If you are eligible, you will need to make the application to the Local Authority yourself.
Funding for three year olds
All children are eligible for 15 hours per week funded childcare, starting the term after their third birthday. To access this funding, we just need to register your child with the Local Authority. This forms part of the registration process, there's nothing else you need to do.

Extended entitlement or 30 hours funding
Some families are eligible for an additional 15 hours per week funding. This is based on your income. There is an online calculator to work out if you are eligible. If you are eligible, you will need to apply for a code and fill out a consent form to allow us to check your code.
Early Years Pupil Premium
The Early Years Pupil Premium is additional funding of up to £353.40 per year which you can claim for the preschool. If you are on a range of different benefits, you may be entitled to this, so it's worth checking the link below.
